Anastasia the Electrician
Anastasia Baldwin is an electrician helping to wire aircraft carriers built by Newport News Shipbuilding. Newport News Shipbuilding is the sole designer, builder and refueler of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and one of two providers of U.S. Navy submarines. Anastasia started her career as an electrician through the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School. “I’m proud of what I do, I really am.” she says, “I’m literally building an aircraft carrier that is going to protect this entire country.”
